now, make fun of USB as well while you go study your seeking alpha charts

Seriously? Where did Celg find so many inept "newbies?" That data shows what Celgene has shipped/sold to wholesalers. It's just wholesaler stock....it does not reflect what has been filled for patients at a local level. Wholesalers buy drug on credit. If the wholesaler does not distribuate the drug to patients, because of a lack of demand, it goes back to Celgene for destruction.

That data does not reflect actual prescriptions filled

I am an investor watching several sites, but I think its worth pointing out that Celgene does not sell through wholesalers. They have a limited distribution through specialty pharmacy, so there will be no wholesaler data. The data to date are from actual shipments from specialty pharmacies to end users. What we are trying to get a read on is what does the run rate look like for hospitals, MTFs and dispensing clinics. Regardless, the early data look impressive given the small size of the indication.

Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

The investor village board is one of the best Celgene sources of information out there.

Motley fool often provides little more than superficial analysis. SOME articles are ok. Seeking alpha is hit or miss. Recently some good articles on Celgene specific to the ip litigation.

However, regarding investor village. There are some long term investors who have access to great institutional analysis. They attend medical conferences, talk to real doctors and analysts and provide amazing insight. They have seen Celgene from the time Celgene brought thal to market.

Regarding the scripts data, I strongly believe it is legit and is representative of REAL scripts. Not only that, per these analysts providing the info, the scripts data is very likely little under estimated because the script #'s do NOT include the initial free titration packs.

Otezla is ramping decently. So far, 1 indication and 1 region (US).

So like anything you read, do so with some skepticism, but the investor village Celgene message board is by far the best stock specific information source I have ever seen.

Listen I'm going to be blunt google them they have a few pages wow. Twitter feed 27 total
the last one was over 3 months ago ! They don't have a facebook page. WTF they can't even have the basics down with technology and yet they have sound financial information.
SURE THEY DO LMAO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to be blunt too.

Try reading the content. Go back several months and actually read the content.

Investor Village is an extremely basic and not very technically advanced web site. No question.

But the value of the Celgene message board are the contributors. I cannot speak for other stock specific message boards on that site... but Celgene's is very solid.

Take an afternoon, go back to December 1st (prior to ASH 2013) and browse through the Celgene board and read the posts/content. There is alot of opinion, but it comes coupled with a huge amount of facts / information you can't find in one place about Celgene.

Remember, its an investment site.

If you think motley fool provides in depth info, then you must base your investments on TTM earnings and GAAP accounting results without looking beneath the surface of what a company is actually doing.

And in the context of this thread, otezla scripts ARE increasing nicely. Celgene will report earnings end of July so you can get confirmation then.

ANYONE knows that posting confidential information regarding company data will get your ass fired in a second. The ONLY people who would have such info would be those employed by Celgene.
Someone would have to be a complete IDIOT to go on some investment board and post
SALES DATA that is for INTERNAL REVIEW ONLY. Maybe the#'s are true but risking your job to post info IS BEYOND MORONIC !!!!!!!!

Many drugs like otezla's prescription data gets reported by a company called IMS.

Not all drugs do. Revlimid and pomalyst do not.

But otezla does. (others that get reported weekly are Gilead's sovaldi does as does Pharmacyclic's imbruvica)

Analysts who cover pharma/biotech stocks would be a group of companies who would be interested in this data. So they likely subscribe and send it to their clients periodically as part of the 'analyst' services they provide.

So, no, otezla prescription data is NOT only known by internal Celgene employees.

And once again, I firmly believe it is ramping nicely. Ahead of some analysts predictions.

And not believing it is fine... The company will report quarterly results in about 2 months.

So you'll know how its performing against company expectations then. I prefer to seek out the weekly data to get a more frequent read on how its ramping.
