Congratulations to everyone that made the final cut. Just heard Dermira has terminated a new sales hire for not officially resigning from their former company. Apparently the rep stated that he gave word and obviously this didn’t fly with HR here or at the big pharma company he came from. I’m actually impressed with HR for this decision. I’m sure the institutional shareholders want honest and professional sales reps and to retain shareholder value. Remember we are a public company and one dishonest rep could potentially be bad news for stockholders. If you are still on the books with your former company you may get lucky with just a terminaton. Some companies have clawed back bonus/salary money and sued for “theft of services”. In addition the full background checks have not been finished and if you have any type of license revocation such as DL, RE Lic, or if you have been banned by any state licensing authority you will also be terminated.
