Cardiorenal positions

I don’t know one rep that carries that Bayer phone. It’s only used if you suck. Bayer is an excellent company. Just like every company , this job depends on the manager and your numbers.

in the women’s health division, they are 100 percent making you use the app. The managers are having contest with driving scores and one manager has used it to get someone on a PIP. You should be aware they can use that app however they want and with a primary care division I would not put it past them at all

The driving app is real. It tracks every trip you make. Time, mileage and how long. GOOD LUCK!

phone - no the give you a phone so no expensing your phone and ipad snd computer.

Internet $50 / month would not be surprised if they dont take that away to cut costs

monthly IRS cost of car $100. everything else is routine fleet.

car washes - up to BU. No max in WHC, just be reasonable and use corporate credit card

office supplies - reimbursable expenses for ink, paper and small office supplies

some states allow an office chair to be reimbursed because of covid. check your state out

That definitely seems high especially for a specialty role. I would think that realistically the specialty positions that will be offered would be a base above 120k and a bonus structure above 35k.
I do not work for Bayer, But I am interested in a specialty cardiorenal position.

Base will likely be around &120K I’m sure. Bonus sounds about right too.

Bayer is a solid company. I looked at their management they have hired experienced leaders vs the biotech start up promises and used car salesman mentality. I have worked for former Genentech their mgmt is aweful. Bayer has other products as well. I talked to my friend they promote from within for career progression. She said they have changed over the last three years which is good to know all for the better. Don’t listen to some trolls on this site. I have been to a two start ups and they are not what people claim them to be.

I agree. There are always trolls and negative people on here preaching doom and gloom about a company. If they’re so smart and successful why are they applying for the same job or even on cafepharma? Shouldn’t they be on their private island? Lol

Managers are being extended offers this week and once they are cleared to start and on boarded then they will start the interviews for the consultant specialist positions. Bayer HR and recruiters are working diligently to screen ppl and set them up as interview ready. They want them hired fast and are telling reps 2-3 weeks from today they should start the interview process. If you are not in a hurry its worth the wait as this division Bayer is very dedicated to and putting money behind.

As for company and culture, Bayer Pharma US is dedicate and transparent. They are focused on growing in the US and continuing to develop Cell & Gene Therapy, ONC, Nuclear Onc, CardioRenal. Culture is great, management has been wonderful to work with and love the company.

Very happy to be here 401K match, benefits and bonus structures are VERY generous some of the most generous bonus I've ever seen with my 19+ years in pharma.

Any idea what company car reps will be getting?

Current employee here. This is accurate, they can see the exact route you took. Times left, arrived, and how long you were at locations. It even tracks personal trips, like on the weekend. This is a disgusting app and I am leaving for this reason alone. They do not allow phone expenses, as they provide a company iphone.

You’ve got to be kidding me. What??? Tell me you’re joking.

This is BS, it is only on company phony. Nobody I know uses the company provided phone and leave it at home. Have had no issues

So you all just use your personal phones then? But what about if your manager wants to get a hold of you on your work phone? Then what?

You have to have your company phone or iPad on and in the car anytime you are driving your company car with the Mentor app on. It is for insurance purposes and the managers get in trouble if your score is zero. Managers are having contest around good scoring for your driving. Some divisions aren’t being hard asses about this app but based on behavior so far, the reasonable assumption is that mentor will be very important.

What company car choices do reps have?

Base model equinox or equivalent.
I am a current employee and can verify that the driving app does indeed track you the way described in previous messages. It is as bad as it sounds (as hard as that is to believe). Not one person likes it, but wait until everyone is in the field the majority of the time. I am worried.
I would post a screen shot if I could.

I am moving to the panel 3rd interview I shared I would at least need to be at 150k base manager mentioned would have to go to panel for salaries above allowed range. I'm
Interested in the role but do not think will leave my current job for a product that isn't even approved too risky especially during a pandemic...think they will have a really difficult time getting top talent who are already employed

every company has good and bad managers, and good and bad reps. don't let what people post on some blog sway your career decision. if you are that small minded then you certainly should pass...
bayer has a strong culture for people but it's not perfect. what company is perfect? just do your job so no one has to micro manage you and then all is good

Exactly
