When you resort to calling people “lazy bastards” and “dumb shits” it demonstrates you have lost the argument. You lack the intellectual capacity to articulate your thoughts so, like a petulant child, you attempt to silence them. You are ignorant and that is further demonstrated in your final comment, we ARE a contract sales force. Takeda and Otsuka own these products and Lundbeck leadership must drop to their knees for them.

These silly meetings you desperately want to attend are nothing more than a conduit for your overlords at Takeda and Otsuka to let you know exactly what you will do while on your knees. They own you. In the field, Otsuka and Takeda reps call the shots and you comply. You are a contract representative.

Scurry out this morning and deliver the absurd messages that your overlords have demanded.

Don’t think the person that posted “dumb shits” and “lazy bastards” lost the argument or not. You are correct in saying we are contract salesforce, and have been since day one. That’s fine as long as I can get by working just a few hours a day, I can deal with that. We all know that we are just puppets for TAKEDA- and Otsuka. Does anyone really care? As long as those two checks a month keep coming in, and I can work when I feel like it, I am good to go. We know there is no future here except what we have been doing from day one. Nothing changes. The FDA still pisses on our head, and we fail to get new drugs or new indications for the me-too drugs we have. Nothing LUNDBECK comes out with, if they ever come out with anything, is truly new and innovative. They just do the best they can with what they have.

Lets not forget to do a little landscaping. I'm sure being at home for a year has led to some overgrowth.

What a fucking total tool you are asshole. Most people who have commented on this thread before you were not stating their preference for virtual over f2f Lundy meetings based on whether or not they had gotten one of the scam vaccine emergency authorized shots. It's more about we have proven as an industry after two virtual national meetings it can successfully be done allowing everyone the convenience of connecting from home; no travel, no being gone from home 3-4 days, etc. Not to mention the huge savings to the company vs millions spent when this company isn't the most financially solvent at present anyways. If it were a new product launch, that would be different, but nothing new obviously happening here for a long time.

So shut the F up you stupid bastard and go get a job somewhere else.

I thought we established that this was the only reason to go to meetings.

Even that is no reason go to a Lundbeck meeting! When you think about it, there is really no reason to go to a Lundbeck meeting. In 7 years I have never come away from a meeting with something really useful.

Exactly, and what can we accomplish at this point in person that cannot be done virtually as well as for all the reasons already stated throughout this thread.

TOTALLY agree. Virtual isn't perfect but it's well worth the money and time and energy saved.

VIRTUAlL! I don’t gain or learn anything by flying staying in a hotel. In fact in person meetings are the worst part of this Job. I learn nothing and am away from my family. Keep the virtual.

    Virtual
Meetings are absolutely horrible, we don’t enjoy them and generally feel it’s just an exercise to give management something to do. We perform enough busy work for these overpaid misfits.

I love face to face meetings! It gives me an opportunity to kiss my managers ass and show off my skills that I never use in a doctors office. Plus I get free food and liquor. Also watching all the idiots on stage acting like they actually have some sort of strategy is well worth the price of admission! If they knew how we all thought they were so very stupid, they would never set foot on stage. But I guess we should never complain because we have a never ending vacation!

How do you expect management to rack up their hotel points and airline miles doing virtual meetings?!

You don't expect them to actually pay for their trips to the Bahamas and Cancun on their own do you?
