I don't want to be a downer, but with everything going on in the world economy right now with the trade wars and the tarrifs, the stock market is not responding kindly. Last 5 days Baxter has gone from $34 to less than $28 and some change.
The good people have left, the ideas and creativity have been replaced with toxicity in both management and employees. We have leaders who have no understanding of the needs of healthcare communities we we are trying to serve, and we have massive debt.
I guess I feel lucky to still be here, but I can't help wonder how long Baxter will be able to survive like this. Our margins are not great right now anyway, and I am curious what these tariffs will do to our book keeping which will impact hiring and layoffs.
