Culture at Eli Lilly

Spot on summary of the current situation at Lilly. And here’s another reality…THEY DON’T CARE. No matter how bad morale is, nothing will change. These leaders don’t give one flying F:(K about anything but the almighty dollar.
That and their massive ego's!! It is a joke! We are laughable! Ridiculousness all around! What we do is not important anymore. They have stripped us of everything admirable. We are walking, talking robots on every level!

They actually care about the surveys they send out. Complete them and roast them accordingly. They are read and can be used to justify leadership changes.

Wish I could do feedback surveys on internal partners like my FRM, MSL, SAM, ROAM etc.

My boss is great and we say so. It’s the cross functional colleagues that need surveys done.

We are their internal customers and we should be allowed to give feedback on the good, bad, and the ugly.

Bologna. If they cared about surveys our morale wouldn’t be where it is. Heard there was a dynamic targeting survey out there die this month. Never got it.

100% I did get the DT "national" survey that was due last Friday. I spelled everything out in Crystal clear English for them, not that they will do one f***ing thing to change one aspect of DT.

Do you remember the former leader AJ the Senior Leader in Diabetes? Surveys were the nail in the coffin for her. Of course, there needs to be other data points but negative surveys/ratings can really screw ALL internal partners (no raise, no ability to change role, PIP, or fired). A DT survey is more of a review of a tool not a person, so I doubt that will lead to personnel changes.

AJ is a horrible human being! Why she ever was put in a leadership role astounds me to this day! I still shake my head in disbelief.

Well, the Jacksonville & Orlando BDs in CMH are also “horrible human beings”; in fact, they both would most likely qualify as borderline personality, narcissistic psychopaths.

I won't say she's a "horrible human being", but I will say she was a micro manager who was in way over her head. Definitely wasn't a good job fit for her based on her skillset. Surveys and feedback loops played a role in her dismissal.
