It appears that some of the Sales, FRM, GAM teams will be consolidated. There is too much overlap in some of those roles. Mettawa is going to get hit the hardest as well as the Regional Centers - Austin, NJ, etc.
 










Abbvie has an army of mid-level managers (every dept) that could be reduced by 50% and it wouldn't impact production at all. Abbvie loves their layers of management.
If they were to get rid of two of every three, and increased the number of Reps to Mangers, the sales team productivity would rise commiserate with the reduction in field rides, stupid conference calls and KAM calls. Then cut out the "Speaker" programs, and then the overlap in the District level - do we really need three or four calling on the same "targets"? Then lets move to the IAE's and GAMS - merge their roles and divide by 3. FRM's there is redundancy with all the retail FRM Roles, lets be honest. Regional Mangers, divide by 3. After one year, stop touching the offices that are locked down since COVIS or before. Take any Sales responsibility/metrics from all of those. Just drive past them and have inside sales (contracted) send information through the mail or email. And purge the Sales by dividing by three.

Now we will see a return to sanity - it it not the 1980's so stop acting like nothing has changed.

we do not need this many hr people.

stop the farce that Dr Pretty needs three programs in two days. If dr Pretty is speaking, one is enough. Record the program messages so our customers can, on demand, listen to it. Send a copy to our competitors as well. They already know because our speakers have loose lips.

eliminate summit. No one knows why they won. It’s a paid exec trip w reps attending. Someone is always fired and it is NOT a trip where you meet the talent for next roles. that fucking contest has too much sway in the mind of folks.

eliminate the motivational nsm speaker. He/her is just a memory 15 minutes post talk. Why pay them $80k for something I can get on youtube. Can we STOP going to Orlando?

move to a 4 day work week, but increase amount of calls. drive purpose.

if you don’t know how you generate business, then close that business. Redeploy assets. Stop wasting money chasing ACP and creon. Redeploy.

create the AI rep/manager to answer questions and connect resources.

I would like to clarify on ending the alcohol - it is a tool from Corporate to lull you into apathy.

You are spot on! That NSM role is a true panty waste. Lets have them do more than pick up the dry cleaning and the void of vast less inane BS they are told to do. They hold no sway and can be excruciatingly vain, insipid and lacking in any real value. They get demoted nad embarrass themselves even more.

Agree with the alignment and anything that says Strategic means $ drain. Get rid of the IAE's and GAM's as well. DM/AD WTF! WTF do any do but act as gatekeepers internally so they can hide or blow themselves to a new role.

All these "Senior Level" managers only truly plan their exit strategies with the most golden parachutes and live to the next stupid National meeting. They get on stage and act like their shit does not stink. We all put knee pads on the same way. One leg at a time...you just wear them more often.

Four day work week - incredibly generous, but more realistic. Most offices close on Friday afternoon because of the crushing mandates from ObummerCare that Pharma pushed and now Insurance and the Industry fight for all the fruit and meat on the table.

It’s a reference over in “Team Psych” this is some wild idea from marketing that bag 3 reps will only be paid on their targets and getting them to write. It’s amazing especially when your two partners make 8k in bonus and “just” miss out on the spiff. Meanwhile your partner comes in well over goal and wins the Bag 3 spiff and makes over 20k. Granted we’ve been calling on that target helping that bag 3 unique target to get going writing VRAYLAR. Thanks Capra…great idea..WTF was senior leadership thinking.
