ALK was always considered one of the best places to work. Rep turnover was null, higher end pay range, and amazing products.
now, your TBMs are leaving in droves, laughable “pipeline”, cancer spinoff dead, and lower end pay ranges.
what did ya’all do to this once great organization?

People don't leave jobs. They leave TOXIC work cultures. The managers are horrible and will do anything to shift blame while terminating great reps, meanwhile acting like they are working harder than anyone in the company. This place is now a joke.

I hate to break it to you. Your new leader, Kevin from Gilead, will fit right into the toxic culture so it's not going tot get any better I can promise you that.

Thanks for the heads up, I already get the impression he’s a real piece of work. Alker where people come as a last resort, so sad what this place has become.
 


Change is the constant constant in business and ALKS is no different. A company can't grow without bringing in new people, and new people will bring a new culture to the workplace. No amount of interviewing will ensure you hire perfect matches...that's impossible. And as an organization grows in size the core associates who built the culture will have less impact on the culture, so it's going to change. Your best bet it is to build a network of likeminded people and track their paths. I came to ALKS in 2011 because the company I was with devolved into a cluster. One of my old co-workers had been with ALKS for about a year and was very happy with the culture...talking with her convinced me it would be a good fit. And it was. Best civilian job I ever had. Zero chance I would have heard of ALKS back then if it wasn't for her. Shame to see what has happened. Stay connected and trust your network.

This place is the definition of “stabbing someone in the back” to try and gain favor. The DBL’s are the worst, fishing for information. There is a reason they don’t allow you to rate your manager through anonymous surveys. I agree with this post, say absolutely nothing to anyone!

Nailed it, these managers are the definition of hired hitmen, watch your back, don’t give them anything to use against you because they will I have watched many good to great reps suffer at the hands of manipulation, gaslighting and nepotism because these incompetent appointees support the promotion of yes men/women. Nothing is shocking anymore! Words have not been spoken more acutely in my opinion on this shell of a company!

Agreed. Management is trying to save their asses at the expense of their reps.

My managers job is to gaslight and always make it the reps fault, never offers solutions or assistance with anything. This company has the most inept managers that I have ever seen in my career. Nothing will be done- the company couldn’t give two shitsl If you look at the turnover in our district you would think it would raise a red flag, but nope he still repeats the same process over and over while sitting pretty.
 












The RBDs are the primary bread winners in their families and have to support their families, and their churches. One of them has had to get three RBDs removed so he could get the job and used his protege to gaslight DBLs to remove obstacles. So he is definitely not gonna rock the boat because he has been Alkermes Golden Boy for decades, everyone loves him but few know the real person. He will stab you in the back for his own personal gain without hesitation. Trust NO ONE at this cesspool. It’s the best socialized welfare program available aside from the Biden Administration Federal Employee Welfare System.
