With the U.S no longer being the cash cow for Pharma, does that mean our Rep jobs as we know them go away? I am not saying I disagree with the U.S paying the same as other countries because we are taken advantage of….I’m just wondering what people think about what this means and how things will change.Thoughts?

Not a good sign for US Pharma. Good day to short pharma stocks

I would hope they would start with the useless roles of Executive Directors and other higher level roles that don’t have much to do. We’ve added so many layers that higher level non revenue generating roles would make more sense than feet in the street roles. But what do I know
 


Pharma companies need to review their operating model and cut cost to maintain shareholder value. Jobs will be lost not only in the US but also in Switzerland. #US first only worked thanks to the crazy high drug prices. Interesting times ahead for sure.
