Trump just saved America and killed the industry. It’s about time. Doctors will love this. Hopefully the large majority of the worthless managers will be out of a job first and then packages will be rolled out. Trump specifically mentioned Jardiance by name and an “ asthma drug “ that costs $500 here and $55 in the UK. we have all been talking about it secretly for years and he finally said it out loud. you have no idea what you are talking about. The EO was just as much about bluster as it was signaling his plans for pharmaceutical and insurance reform. Read the details....which you have not.....it is inclusive of the PBM middleman issue as well as referencing cheap hospital pricing (340B).....In the end, our list prices would change and hopefully go lower - as they are artificially high due to the PBMs, but so will our overall discounts.......and in the end, we will have a limited affect on our bottom line but nowhere like the PBMs will have. Trump is not a politician, he is a businessman.......his EO is simply his way of saying this is coming and what areas will be affected. Notice the stock prices of Big Pharma went higher..........US Pharma is not worried.......European and Asian pharma are probably going nuts...

NO this goes hand in hand with the tariffs. We outsource labor because we can’t pay employees healthcare. Look at how much is spent per year on healthcare. The US has long used it as a way of self inflation through non-christian fractional banking. More manufacturing and jobs for Americans with lower prices to healthcare.

the commercial….. “ HEY KOOLAID” Comes to mind. I completely understand the economics behind it. You don’t. If you don‘t think this EO will impact our jobs then you probably think doctors actually listen to us, especially when our managers are with us. Also, GSK is under financial strain so this will also be used as a reason to downsize. It’s a great gig but it has run its course. We have been talking about the US getting milked for decades. Open your eyes
 








In case anyone's paying attention, no AIR reps that are leaving or retiring are being replaced, even in large volume territories. Trelegy is 8 years old and company putting resources into other specialities. Writing is on the wall that AIR sales force will be laid off in 4th quarter

AIR reps are like zombies…they keep surviving depsite the threats. Same is happening in VBU.
 


Glad to see everyone aligned as usual. The snide comments on any given BU regardless of their performance, the sharp commentary around reps not adding value despite the entire industry having them and steeling them from each other, the beautiful assumptions based on uninformed analysis about what is going down with the government without anyone here spending any time on the hill is all so much fun to read and is pointless.
