Astellas was a great place to be. Now it is a toxic cesspool run by outsiders and David Boyd. Boyd couldn’t lead a gaggle of drunken sailors into a whorehouse, but he somehow maneuvered his way through several promotions and ended up as head of sales. What a joke. The old Astellas culture is destroyed and we are just another wannabe big pharma outfit that treats people like shit. Making employees wait almost a month to find out if they have a job is just plain ridiculous. R.I.P. Astellas
 




We are all underpaid at Astellas, but people have stayed with the company because of the incredible culture. Now that our culture is destroyed, do we get a pay raise?

what culture did you have at Astellas? You are all a bunch of pre retired losers. It is a do nothing culture.

You took advantage of everything got fat and lazy and money stopped coming in.

I left Astellas years ago and went back into small biotech. Such a relief - no one has the time to read every one of my emails looking for possible compliance mistakes and I can do my job without fearing that one of my colleagues is going to stab me in the back. Astella's culture was nasty, hyper-competitive and stressful. You can do better - The grass really can be greener on the other side. Good luck!
 








Nope Not Snow. But someone in HQ who sees way way more than the narrow focus of the field. He actually fights harder for Field teams than any other Astellas leader and that’s facts. i’m sure he’s NOT perfect, but like i said he is NOT the problem.
I don’t understand. With the salaries paid to these “leaders” why doesn’t the high up hiring personnel or HR take a look at Cafe PHARMA?? David Boyd has been lambasted on this sight since 2012 when he was a manager for everything from inappropriate behavior with female employees to being a true lazy dumbass in business. He has DEI’d his way to the top and it’s so embarrassing. He tries to be MR cool at meetings but DAVID EVERYONE KNOWS YOU’RE A HUGE PHONY. Mike P is an idiot and Bisson is another DEI loser who thinks R/F are the keys. What a threesome of ratards. All this proves to me is that ANYONE and I mean ANYONE can be a big wig at Astellas. KISS the right ass, play the games people play, get promoted.
