No joke. Blatant case of nepotism. Dude keeps failing upwards as most senior leaders do anyway.
Tbh why does MC even work here?? He knows no one will ever respect him and everyone will always assume everything is handed to him unmerited - even if he’s a smart guy. That’s not a good spot to be in. I’d leave and work elsewhere if I were him out of dignity.
But then again, he’s probably walking around with a giant middle finger to all of us knowing he’s literally un-fire-able, especially in these uncertain economic times when companies are laying off left and right. Lol.

He’s (thankfully) just an Associate Director but in CX now. Jordan is still there but I think his days are numbered. Guy is just a fart in the wind.
