Going down

Is anyone else wondering what DB has actually done? Has Matteo realized this place is starting to feel like a running joke? It’s wild that we’re hiring people with zero derm experience like it’s a feature, not a flaw.

Not sure how someone who didn’t qualify for a rep role ended up in a DBD position but hey, maybe logic took a sick day.

Also, is it just me or does our hiring pool look suspiciously like a varsity team reunion?

FAM roles are…interesting. Big paychecks, minimal impact, and a whole lot of confident guessing.

And the Mighty Oak rankings? At this point just LOL

And can we talk about speaker programs? Anyone feeling pressured to book pointless programs to keep leadership happy? We are at the point of bribery with the amount of programs expected every year. Programs should be on as needed basis. This is a compliance nightmare. Until a new indication, programs are useless. Offices use them as an excuse to have birthday dinners and happy hour with food paid for by Incyte. Matter of time before the company and reps get in trouble.

I cannot get over the lies rampant at this place and the lack of accountability leadership is flagrantly displaying. The sales team talks and there is no reason not to be truthful to one another. A new “superior” sales force but we are all #ASONE. To attract better candidates they are offering higher bases than reps that have been around for years. Derm is a small world and it’s obvious to everyone what’s going on here and the toxicity that’s breeding here. 9 people at plan is a joke. DO BETTER.

Unfortunately I think it's 7.

Anyone checked linked in? They are literally advertising this. Anyone making base of $175,000 on the immunology/superior sales force?
I'd actually take a $20k pay cut just to put John Krukiel back in charge. Smart choices, trust in the salesforce, and no change for the sake of change. Corduroy pants and all!

5 friends at 3 different companies selling AD drugs and all making over $175 base. One has been at their company for under 3 years and making $200+ base! Have no idea why I stay here with my base barely breaking $150 and been here over 2 years? I’m a fool, especially with these goals.

Incyte Named One of America’s Most Loved Workplaces 2024?

Maybe so—but don’t ask the Dermatology team. At this rate, Incyte Dermatology is on track to earn a failing grade next year.

I feel like someone just kicked my tower of legos over that took 4 years to build right when I was about to put the final piece on top. How in the actually hell am I supposed to get programs on the books with physicians I've never called on before? The fact that higher ups in these companies truly think that Doctors are running to programs in the evenings to "fill their cup of knowledge" is hysterical. They come to the programs because of our relationships. Do they learn something there? Sure! They are also very capable of googling a published study if they are curious.
What's happened here is individuals having zero understanding of how Dermatology works. 80% of it is relationships and they just set off a bomb on the territories right when we finally get the Pediatric indication. They totally think that it's the clinical message that will prevail and we need to keep our heads down and "Robot out" a message to these doctors thinking it's going to blow their minds. It's the worst execution and strategy I've ever seen. It's going to take some reps months to get access to these guys when a lot of us were able to walk in the back door. Saying "pencil's down" is the shittiest leadership approach I've ever seen in an email. We aren't taking the Iowa test here RT....we've work our asses off for 4 years to make this the best company and Dermatology brand to date. You just single handedly cut our legs out from under us and it's US that will be held accountable for the results.

This is not a new concept. This has been going on for years. The people above only want to get higher. They will not stay but bump themselves up short term, and the jump to a higher position later once the novelty wears off. It is not even a pharma thing. It is human nature and survival of the fittest. Most people, not all - suck. ME ME ME. Sad what this world has become. The uppers devise these plans to get rich and stay in power. This is a tool for them, not for you. You are a stepping stone on their journey. Again, sad but true. Money and power are the drivers in any company. Most people are the carnage on one or two peoples journey. I read on here I think in the BMS board that someone posted that the uppers practice favoritism. This is true, but I would like to add to it. Once they are done using you up, they will discard you. Humans, supposedly here to help each other, but at times we are no better than sharks.

Of course most of the positions are filled, they're hiring people with 2 years experience for base of $145k+. What entry level sales professional wouldn't take that? Meanwhile seasoned reps have to sit back and take their 3% yearly increases

This place is a joke of a compliance nightmare. We’re going to be expected to perform with insane territory shifts, launch a new indication while introducing ourselves to new accounts all while trying to figure out where the new “elite” immunology reps (most of whom have little to no derm experience from the top down) are going to be working and only talking about vitiligo? All while being tracked per sample call, showing doctors a joke of a screen on our iPads telling them to step through Zoryve and Vtama to get our impossible to access drug. Max out meals, max out programs, max out time in territory but what about just actually leveraging our business acumen and experience and get OUT OF THE WAY and let us work. The era of checking the box has arrived.

Yeah had to look that one up. I get it now. I guess if you have Bball experience that surpases everything else. Thanks leadership is doing a bang up job....lol
It's so frustrating. Out of all the realignments I've been through over the years, this one hurts the most. It shows you that being a "career rep" is the dumbest thing you can do for yourself. It leaves you without a voice and powerless. I should have sucked it up climbed the ladder with all the other Jack Offs so that a basketball team didn't control my fate. I just LOVE the rep side of this industry and actually helping patients. I feel like we are the orchestra on the Titanic and we are just strumming along staring at each other until this thing sinks.
