Pharma P Club debacle

This Pharma leadership team couldn’t be further from transparent. No one in Pharma wants transparency and if you show it you’ll be shown the door.
This scenario is way more involved than anyone thinks. Do you really think the analytics team didn’t see that there was a tie before the NSM? Don’t you think they would want to show they had a tie and were doing the right thing bringing both people? There is obviously some wrongdoing here.
Leadership’s attitude is “nothing to see here”. So sad. This company used to be fun to work for until Brent and his “ol’ boy” network came to town.

Its because there wasn't a tie. If you recall in the speech at the ceremony, analytics went over the data with a fine-toothed comb to get their results. This was to keep someone from quitting. There was no announcement afterward. Very quiet, sneaky and under the table. Very B+L.

Yes. Leadership was so proud of the person because there was a tie and they did so well that they didn’t even announce it. What a slap in the face to those who really deserved it.
Attention leadership…you set a bad example now everyone one place out of the trip should always complain. We all have a precedent to go by now. Attention HR…sales leadership is putting you in a bad spot.

Looks like the latest earnings will have its own karma on leadership. How do you continue to not deliver results and not change your leadership? It’s about that time don’t ya think???

Those of you who have access to SalesIQ and “this particular” sales team will see it was a tie in the data.

They have EC Pres Club after the meeting was over. Not her fault but is not fair to the other sales representatives.

The sales award in question isintended to celebrate outstanding performance, measurable results, and contributions that drive the company’s success. However, it appears that the recipient wad selected based on factors unrelated to their actual sale performance but because they were exploring opportunities with other company. This discrepancy raises questions about the criteria used for the selection process.

This decision not only demotivates high-performing employees who consistently exceed expectations but also sends a message that favoritism or other non-performance-based factors. Such perceptions can harm morale, productivity, and trust in leadership’s commitment to fairness.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this kind of unfairness, but it’s a new low. Employees are demoralized, and trust in the leadership is at a zero! Why should we strive for excellence when recognition is handed out based on who’s in your inner circle? If you think this goes unnoticed, you’re dead wrong—people are talking, and resentment is growing.

I demand an explanation from
YN and BF for how this decision was made and what steps you’ll take to ensure this kind of injustice doesn’t happen again! Transparency and fairness aren’t optional—they’re the backbone of a functional workplace. Fix this, or you’re going to lose the respect and loyalty of your team.

Human resources should get involved, but they are just there to fire people not to help employees.

Legal and Policy Violations

The allocation of this award to EC was in a manner that disregards merit-based criteria may violate B&Ls own policies, as outlined in [reference specific company policy, e.g., “Employee Handbook, Section 7 which mandates fair and transparent recognition processes”]. Furthermore, such actions potentially contravene federal and state labor laws, including but not limited to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits workplace discrimination based on favoritism or other biased practices that create a hostile work environment. By prioritizing an unqualified individual, leadership has demoralized the workforce, eroded trust, and potentially discriminated against deserving employees based on arbitrary or biased factors.

Stop crying. Door Dashers don't get sales awards... Reality check...ya'll are undignified Door Dashers. Enjoy your chuck wagons, free meals, short days, and excessive salaries. The people deserving of the cheap plaques are the pharma and medical device rep physicians, not ya'll.

Y’all got no game. You know you not real sales professionals, right!? Right? How many damn 7th place trophies do you have in gM the basement apartment at yo mommas house in the hood?

He is right. You are not sales professionals. The physicians are the sales professionals/pharmaceutical representatives and deserve your trophies to hang on their walls. Look at my linkedin. All of those cheap awards are in a landfill somewhere. I wasn't selling anything. I was a glorified promoter and gofer/caterer for the real sales professionals, the physicians. Change your ranking system. Rank the physicians selling/prescribing/using the most of your products, not the pharmaceutical promoters. Send the top ranked physician sales rep the cheap award. Give him/her recognition.

Yes but I love to post how humbled I am for all the awards I get each year on LinkedIn. If you’re the type of person who broadcasts your “wins” on LinkedIn, you’re just a loser. At least let someone else praise you.
