Once again executive leadership hiring their buddies. WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY HIRING WHO THEY KNOW REGARDLESS OF SKILL SETS? The drugs sell themselves for the most part in HIV so I supposed Gilead just feels they have the luxury of not worrying about experience and talent in the space. It's like this all over this company.I didn't think you could hire a worse RD than DW but Wendy proved you sure in the hell can. And she relocates him from backward ass Mississippi to Miami the #1 area in the nation so he will get HOF like DW.
DW is as bad they get & Brian is worse.

This is the problem with Gilead. They don't know how to compete. If all efficacy/safety were equal among our products and competition, Gilead would lose every time. There's a lot to really love here at Gilead but I've gone backwards in skills since coming here 5 years ago. I've learned to accept the activity check box busy work because they compensate me well but it makes the job depressing.This dude is a walking disaster. No wonder he spent 5yrs as a consultant "aka unemployed".

But he does have the Top Territories for HIV in the galaxy for 7yrs so he will win P Club, hands down.
So that award in Prep doesn't mean crap & DW winning his first 2 yrs as RD proved that but Brian will validate that award is useless now .
(But reps are nice & real good. RDs past and present not so)
His replacement for FL Brian, I have no clue what rock in back woods Mississippi they found him. He just isn't a fit for either the geography nor the position.DW is in the wrong role. He isn't a leader but has skills. Should be in operations nor sales.
