Bullshit. Years ago the upper economic class (i.e. folks like Trump, Elon, etc.) started to outsource lower end manufacturing to save money on labor (started in the late '60s and accelerated in the '70s). By the early '90s it was becoming a real problem for the US. Ross Perot warned us that this way of doing things was not sustainable. Biden brought back more factory work during his term then Trump 1.0. Most of what was brought back here was in automated factories. Trump is doing what he always does, bully others. It will not work. In fact congress (Red and Blue members) is working to take back the special powers allowing the President to adjust tariffs. Under the Constitution this power belongs to the Congress. What I find odd is that the folks who lost the most due to the outsourcing (Red states) voted for the economic class that caused the problem. To fix this we need to just start manufacturing more of the stuff that we use here at home and do it in a steady logical way. Not by the Administration issuing orders and holy writs. By the way, I am an independent voter.
