Novo is reverse discriminating

It does seem to be an age discrimination with all of the new hires that have came on board as of the beginning of the year. The new pool of employees that are on board are in their 20s, which gives a perception that NNI are pushing legacy reps away. The example of Lars being pushed out the door only proves that no position is secure anymore. We are all replaceable no matter how long one has invested their lives into NNI. Very sad. It does feel that a new wave is heading our way. You don’t need to be a scientist to see that the writing is on the wall. Good luck everyone.

I doubt that. I saw the classes for the Apis classes across all therapeutic areas and there is not age discrimination from what I saw. Good for Novo Nordisk.
 


Good for Novo. You said that right. Every rep in Novo is replaceable. It’s called succession planning. I would not be surprised as sales continue to diminish to see the field replaced with contracted reps and VSRs. Why continue paying $130-$150k per rep when a contracted role can continue to maintain the continued declining business until the next best thing happens.

Novo Nordisk has hired experienced sales reps. If they didn’t think they were of value, they would hire less tentured reps like some other companies do. It is sad that all some ever do is worry about a reorganization and their role being eliminated.
