R&I Update

Is tomorrow the day?! God I hope so. Breztri and Airsupra numbers in the dumpster, losing coverage, increase micromanaging with metrics, replacing with contract… does it finally come to fruition tomorrow? _/|\_

IDK. In my market, docs have not been happy about the "card" and the removal of the override. Have seen a drop in RX's with some of our larger writers due to this. Their response: I'm not having my staff waste their time and energy doing PA's, especially for a rescue. So, bring it back or swallow your pride leadership and get better coverage (commercial and D).

So if I’m incoming on R&i team…is it bad
It’s glorified primary care, which the industry is moving away from. If you need a job, take it. otherwise, stay put. Wait out the shitstorm from wherever you are right now. or you could end up like the 700 people AZ let go last year…and the 200 the year before…and the year before that…and so on.

I accepted the offer and left my old job. Starts soon. Should i ride the shitstorm and then keep applying to others lol

Field based personal are being squeezed more and more. EV's that suck (many people are in perpetual rentals due to mechanical/battery issues), FSIP plans that continually increase in volume/MS goals while losing coverage, MRP's that mean little since hiring is now all about equity (salary based on averages to the position and TA). I have never seen people jump to other companies as often as the time at AZ we now reside. Will only get worse as incentive plans won't be attained at 100% more often. AZ will be in a constant state of training new hires. They will gain that critical two to three years of sales experience and then run. Rinse, lather, repeat.

Why would you think R&I is glorified? If you are selling to primary care and are not in the specialty division, you are equal to CVRM primary care.

We don’t care if patients are having an exacerbation and they reach for the rescue and it doesn’t work. We were told stop making it a big deal. Focus on calls per day and frequency.
ROTFLMAO..... Now issues with Cigna commercial too? People, get your heads out of your behinds! And while you are at it, get on some more large plans. Afterall, it is two long standing products in one device. It ain't revolutionary no matter what you want to say. It's unfortunate because there is a need but when plans are requiring scripts written for the two products in separate devices or Symbicort as SMART instead, it just tells all that AZ was too greedy in establishing the price. What a shock!

With EB at the helm, what did you expect...

Ironically, it’s not about greed so much as it’s ineptitude. The most disorganized mega pharm there is….nobody knows what the other is doing and they don’t even know what responsibilities are theirs. These MC disturbances were not part of the plan but rather mistakes. They will be reversed next year and then you will be furnished with a whole brand new batch of bullshit that happened while nobody was looking. AZ has gotten too big and is now mismanaged so badly that we are losing money at a catastrophic rate. The FOW (future of work) initiative is also a debacle. So either stay and work with this shitshow or leave for a slightly less shitshow. Either way, nobody will notice or care.
