Nucala expansion


Think they are going to split us up (some to Nucala and some to depe) or hire a depe salesforce?
I have to imagine that they hired this many people with the intention of splitting some of us off to sell Depe when it launches. Under no circumstances does Nucala require this many reps in offices. This is beyond overkill, even for GSK
 




Three reps in PUD accounts and another who calls on Allergy that also tends to drop in the same accounts. My counterparts insist that we all do lunches together. Let me just tell you how much the offices love that. This can’t go on much longer

I refuse to join lunches with my counterparts. It's just too much for one office. I go to my lunches and let them go to theirs. It's better for the business to have us in different offices doing lunches on the same day than all of us in one office.

Being that all of specialty respiratory is going to the depe launch, not sure if splitting us up is even a thought?

I agree. The problem is everyone shoots out in the morning trying to figure out how to justify their job. They sit in lunches so they can pick apart what you say so they can laugh behind your back with the manager. Want sales to go up ? 1 rep per territory and fire them if they can’t change mkt share. No hiding behind pod mates anymore

Exactly. One rep per territory. Low performers get let go. Too many lousy reps are just riding the coattails of stronger ones. No more favoritism or b.s.ing. let results with one rep speak for itself.
 


That’s not the GSK way. Flood the market with mindless robots and top heavy leadership. It’s not about increasing revenue, it’s about suckling the teat to grow the BU and increase headcount. That way upper management can play out the charade of refining, streamlining and making the business unit more efficient. This process is what gets these “leaders” to retirement wealthy. The reps are just pawns in this game, that’s why it’s better to have a bunch of boots on the ground.
