So many postings for openings in this division. I heard people leaving all year long. But no one bats an eye, including HR as to why this is. Nobody wanna look into this? Anyone have some information. Not sure I wanna refer a friend to work in GMS. Hmm!

Truth be told, GMS is Toxic AF… but then again, so is Alcon or any Pharma/MedTec company…
Heard thru grapevine that most folks leave due to lack of WFH flexibility. They go to other depts. where remote work is allowed. Funny thing is that CMO is 100% remote. Very hypocritical if u ask me.
Well, it finally happened! GMS is getting restructured. Witch of the west is gone! Too bad they appointed someone with similar micromanagement style. Hopefully it’s just temporary. If not, those surveys will continue to be shitty, and same turnover. Good luck to all! New guy likes to clean house and bring in people who kiss his ass.
Over a year since the restructuring and not much to show for it. They are understaffed and very picky about hiring “the right people“. This dept is a mess thanks to its new leadership who have zero experience. But you can’t really blame them. The one who appointed the new guy is just as ignorant on the subject. oh well… at least the new guys got the money to bump their people to directors with the money saved from decimating GMS last fall. So much for HR‘s efforts to flatten the model. And hey, they r hiring more directors. Good luck to those who join!
