This company was considered “The Ivy League” of the pharmaceutical industry. Landing a job here was extremely competitive and only the absolute best were hired. What a great place to build a career over the years.

Times have certainly changed. Now we are a poorly run company that is a disgrace in the industry

“COVID-19 tweets from November 2020 have come back to haunt Pfizer once again. Fourteen months after an old tweet caused Pfizer new problems, pandemic-era social media posts linked to the drugmaker have again been found to have brought discredit on the pharma industry.”

how sad is it that we are a major part of the reason that many distrust vaccines? And all the bs posts of “trust the Science” from PFE leaders during Covid. When people ask me where I work, I lie.

When exactly was THIS? Yes, we had a great run in the 90s and 00s, but to say that we hired only the best is revisionist history. If you want proof, keep in mind that the sales force and HQ head counts are a fraction of the size that they were in 1999. That must mean that there are literally hundreds of former "best of the best" Pfizer reps and marketers running things throughout the industry.
Lets see...there's Amgen and I can only think of 3 or 4 small companies that serve as landing spots for those managers and marketing Director, Team Leaders that have been downsized.

In our glory days, we had great PRODUCTS, large field forces and massive marketing and T&E budgets with little oversight.

I am thinking 1990’s and early 2000’s. This company had an enormous research and development budget for years. Extremely competitive hiring process with the best applicants being offered employment. Today, those successful career employees can now finally retire. Their hard work finally paid off. I congratulate them!!!

Yes I recall all the stuff our own CEO posted in LinkIn hyping the Covid Vax and anti-virals. Again, for unapproved drugs at the time. This is embarrassing especially given that its the second time we are getting caught on it

Extremely competitive? If you're talking about reps and our managers, things must be different from what they are in the two regions that Ive worked.

They wound up vastly underpaid if they stayed at Pfizer that long. Base salaries for experienced Onc and RD reps is in the $235K-$250K range now at other companies.

Pfizer Proud. Science Will Win. Own it. Now, apparently, we’re focused on selling “Trust” as a new buzzword word.

How about “Run the Damn Business”? Get serious, quit trading on catchy slogans with no depth and prove some competency

all these catch phrases...this company banned any chance at trust long ago

Don’t forget “outdo yesterday”. The dumbest one yet

It’s all about trust. You know, it’s our center. It’s in our DNA. Trust
