Nobody comes to work here because of any dynamic leadership, trust me. Reality is, most come to work here because they are on the job rebound and need a gap fill job until something better comes along. Some leaders are more tolerable than others but by and large most of them are mindless order takers from above. Do your time but don’t settle there. Much better places to work.
 


Above Nailed it! Do not put to much effort into your job it will either sell itself or not, 80% of the reps are bidding their time because they are incompetent or need the medical coverage because they are walking medical disasters.

Maybe this new guy Kevin will start making some changes. Here people are pretty happy at Gilead. His entire division was laid off which is why he left.

Seriously look at all the dead weight, people fuck up and move up! Come on Shawn Pierce was a worthless manager and now sucks at Federal Accounts, he is retired on the job and management could care less because he is a good yes man!

Even better Managers fuck up and have no idea how to motivate or improve the business then fire people or force them out with absolutely no consequences to them. It’s extremely unfortunate they allow these spineless individuals to stay in these positions but welcome to Alkermes.

You nailed it, what a caustic environment. I only wish the annoyance that the fleas of a thousand camels infest their crotch and their arms be to short to scratch!
 


AK was far too good for ALKs and is doing fine for himself. I honestly don’t understand why talented people tolerate such a lousy culture, lack of leadership, no pipeline and mediocre products. Talk about losing your edge and becoming complacent. If that’s what you are about you have found your home

Not to mention harassing managers that create a hostile work environment and throw their reps under the bus every chance they get to try and make themselves look good. Spineless asshats!

Truth! If you have any self worth move on, nothing will change at this shit hole. Unfortunately the C-Suite couldn’t care less how abusive the DM’s are to the reps so get out while you can before going down with the Titanic.

Another Monday, same shit different day. My asshole manager is getting much much worse with the constant micro-managing and harassment, if I don’t find a new gig soon I may just resign like others on my team before me. It sucks that they can get legally get away with this without any consequence!
