Package/Car

I was given a range of $120 to $140k. Comp $47k at plan. I'm still confused on the description being speciality but the targets being allergy and immunology. Do the call on same targets with different drugs? The only drug I was told is Haegarda
Thanks for all insight and sorry if I'm being an idiot. I guess Im just confused- does speciality and immunology both call on immunologists? I'm just hopeful this is a role in the better division bc I really need it

$140k base is more than the people here make that have been here the last 5 years. Very few peeps hit $47k (100%) at plan.
There are some overlapping targets with Immunology (IVIG) vs Specialty (Haegarda and launching Gara). Specialty had Kcentra and that recently went generic (hospital based product). CSL really dropped the ball on contracting (absolute mess and totally clueless).
CSL lied regarding the commission pay during the decline of the plan coverage - really wrong in so many ways. Absolutely no credibility and it was worse when the manager tried to convince the district that we didn't hear what was said at a national meeting. It was a shitty thing to do and leave it for the district managers to tell the reps that CSL reneged on commission and worse when the manager lied and defended the company.
I expect a restructuring / downsizing after the launch - there is new big pharma management in play.

Thanks for the info. $140k would be doable if goals were attainable but that does not sound like reality. I appreciate it and sorry you guys were done so wrong.

What is your experience level? Hospital reps are at $180k to $225k base. Rare disease Specialty is typically $155k-$200k. Takeda HAE is at $170k-$180k - all the other HAE startups are at or well over $200k base. CSL is still under at $140k.

If you have a job - would wait till you find a "good fit" (I'm interviewing - so are others). Stepping stone from Primary to Rare Disease is about the only plus.

Unfortunately CSL isn't there. Good products with poor management, poor pay, horrible culture, RAM's that are clueless, changing comp plan (including lying), impossible goals- they openly celebrate and admit at National Meetings - "if you don't like it then leave". Every National Meeting has a huge number of new people of missing reps due to high turnover and we get blamed not meeting national sales goals due to high turnover / vacant territories.
The projected sales goals for Gara has doubled due to the turnover and are not unachievable - no one is excited over this - this was clearly seen at the launch meeting in FL. A lot of people have left (over 10) I'm interviewing - so are others.
Good luck with your search!!

What about the Kcentra goals and expectations?
How many people hit 100% in April?
My territory has never hit that number and I have lost Kcentra in my major accounts.
Unachievable sales goals are par for the course.
