DUI last night in Milwaukee

Some people watch what they eat and drink But not in Milwaukee. At the end of the night if you gonna be drinking for 8 hours (3pm to 11pm) and that includes 16-20 beers the difference between a light beer and a craft beer adds up. Miller lite is 90 something calories vs say 140 calories for some good tasting beer. For 6 beers that difference is 300 calories. Plus don’t let me get started on Carbs. Miller lite is only 3.5 grams carbs I guess. It would take you 30 mins of high intensity cardio to burn those 300 calories so people do make their choices with light beer (inspite of them tasting not so great). And beer doesn’t taste great anyways for a beginner, it’s an acquired taste. And believe me The “mentor” has an acquired taste.
 


I’ve been working hear for about two years now. About a year ago, I got into an accident while on the clock, and after going through the legal process, I was just recently convicted of a DUI. My license will be revoked for three months, and I’ll have to get an ignition interlock and a restricted license. I was told not to tell my boss about the accident when it happened, but not that alcohol was involved, so they don’t know about the DUI. I’m debating whether I should go on disability now it’s summer hear or wait and see if it even comes up. I’m concerned about possibly getting fired, but I also don’t want them to find out another way and be upset that I didn’t say anything.

How many of yous been in a similar situation or have advice on how to handle this? Four others in my group got it covered up and is still hear.
 




Old school rep hear, at my company used to expense lunch every day I worked in the field. my reasoning was that he was waking up early to get into the field and that I didn't have the option to pack a lunch so the company I could buy a $25 drive through meal between appointments. A senior manager from Chicago-Milwaukee did a short stint in the hear, found out about this, and loved the idea a lot with Miller lite and cow boy steaks at Pottawatami casino in downtown Milwaukee

Fast forward close to 7 years. That manager now stops at a mid range restaurant and treats himself to two meals every time he's on the road. He eats one by himself in all his glory and takes the other one to go. Been doing that 2 times a week, every week, 1000 weeks in a row. No one has ever said anything about it.
