Leadership Overhaul - Could this really be a new 'SUNrise'!

This article states that "According to analysts, the leadership changes are designed to balance institutional knowledge with fresh executive vision, especially as the firm sharpens its focus on research-driven products and emerging therapies.".

While this may be what they are writing for the financial markets, there must be an even deeper challenge they face in their most profitable sector of North America.

Appointing an outside Big Pharma Executive to run the NAM is a humongous blow to all of the Culture Crabs that have been clawing to take AG's spot. AG did his best to take care of those who were his cronies, moles and stooges with late day promos and bonuses. But they all should be on notice; their backstabbing, clawing, lying tactics will not be tolerated with the new guy coming in. It will be time for them to put up or shut up and either prove their worth and do the work they are getting paid for or dust off their resume and start looking! Maybe AG is taken them with him and if so, don't let the door hit you on the way out. Hopefully, Hag will grow a pair and stop with the talk and put up some real change or his days will be numbered as well.

For all those out there, now that this opportunity exists, what is something you would like the New NAM CEO to know he HAS TO CHANGE, DAY 1;

- Compensation - Sun is one of the lowest paying Pharma Companies overall. IC plans are unrealistic and often wrong with no accountability.

- Benefits - Sun has the WORST in the industry. Worst PTO across the board, Worst and HIGHEST COST Health Insurance, Worst Employee Incentives, Worst, just WORST bottom of the barrel on all levels of benefits/lack of benefits to retain any good talent.

- Culture - The most toxic, disrespectful environment with the excuse of the (Indian Culture,) being the blame (BS,) and HR does nothing to support employees impacted that are not of the 'culture.'

- Personnel - S#!+, worst attrician ever. Employees are so desperate to get out, if and when they can find a job, they take the first offer and run as fast as they can, even leaving before they get a bonus or leaving well deserved benefits on the table. Many have just left because unemployment was a better option than the dumpster fire they had to face daily.

- Lack of growth potential - Unless you are a chosen one or your bending a knee to kiss someone's ring/a$$, you can NEVER expect any more that what you are getting. No matter how good you are, you will never be better than the 'culture,' and not worthy of opportunities to advance. They will find every reason in the book to keep you down.

Where does this guy start to try to chip away at this toxic waste dump that is destroying peoples careers and turn it into a real pharma company that actually cares about the patients and employees who really want to work here?

Please share! Hopefully the new CEO is reading or at least someone from HR.

Let's see if he really will bring a fresh new vision or will he just fall in line and be a 'yes' man as well and everything will remain 'status quo'!
 


If the plan is to change the US company culture and environment for the better, a COMPLETE management evaluation assessment is necessary. And I mean EVERY single employee with a management title should be assessed.
 




could be right. Also what are the odds to announce DS is stepping a bit to the side and AG leaving on the same day? Strange things are afoot. And yes, I agree the culture needs a deep cleanse. We can hope for a new Sunrise but it’ll probably still be a s-show when it’s all said and done

Yes but we need AS out now. He just got a promotion. Never feel comfortable around him and his touchy-feely crap he pulls on us females. Kind of like the old taro cfo jamming his tongue in our throats at happy hours. Girls we need to step up one creep gone, the other must go.

Gotta start reporting to the hotline. That's how they got TF out. If there are enough reports, someone has to step up before there is a lawsuit. AG most likely knew AS$ was not going to survive long with the new guy, so he gave him a new title, (and a fat bonus) to help him look for a new job. AS$ must know his days are numbered too. Honestly, if this new guy doesn't CLEAN HOUSE in his first 6 months, NOTHING WILL EVER CHANGE!!! AG's henchmen are all over and I'm sure they are not going to go down without a fight.

Then DS gave AG a golden parachute to jump before he handed over the controls to the Hindenburg to a new puppet that has never been a CEO before. Yeah, let's see how this story ends.....

With the ongoing DOJ investigation this move will be used to try and help soften the blow. But If I were Dilip I’d have one of my top lieutenants take a hit for me.
 


Read the thread here about whistleblowers. The fellow with the California Law firm just put it to Sun. AG has been promoting off label expansion for years. Email copies were shared and he is just the start of those being asked to resign. In the next 60 days you will see a dozen in leadership fall away. It’s about time!

AG has left the building. He was a joke to everyone but DS had to wait for his boy to “come of age”. Does it really matter who gets credit for this loss? They are playing a game of musical chairs and the last one will get a bigger severance payout.

Word to the wise; look at the credentials of the new leadership. Everyone is a joke and are only here to take the fall for DS and AS. Look up the Jim Carrey movie “fun with Dick and Jane”. Lots of Dicks here.
