Who the F cares anymore? Pharma and especially AZ has become a caricature. Look at Airsupra.... Two ancient (yet good) compounds in one device. Whoopie Do. Charge a fortune, have pharmacy chains actively not fill scripts, use a card that bypasses PA's and then take that ability away yet with no additional coverage, revamp the bonus structure to F the sales force but let those on AZIP look like rock stars, while continuing to raise field-based goals each qtr. I'm done, AZ just doesn't know it and nor will they.

If you don’t like it, you are free to leave!!!

Anyone know what the severance plan is for someone who has been here 5 years?
You get the 60 day Warn period of normal pay. Then you will receive your total severance in one big lump (as long as you are still not employed). It is a 12 week minimum of severance for everyone. It’s 2 weeks for each year with AZ. So if you’re here for 10 years, you get 20 weeks. You will also have 6 months health insurance.
Enjoy! I do believe there are some cuts coming so you may get a nice payout.

If cuts come under no circumstances should you sign the document they give you in order to receive your severance. You sign away forever your right to sue.

If you feel you are being targeted for age (over 40 but especially if in 50’s), race (white), gender (male) then tell them you are going to fight through the courts. If you can make a case that your manager created a hostile work environment, tell them you are going to fight through the courts.

At a minimum make them think you are serious and tell them their initial offer isn’t good enough. You’ll likely get more. They have lots of money and lawyers but not enough to take on every lawsuit that comes their way for discrimination.

That’s great if you don’t need the money for years. Settlements don’t come quickly. And if you have to lawyer up, you may just break even with the initial settlement.
Just sayin. Research is key.

You TELL 'em, snowflake! We are not going to sit idly by while these DEI hires push us around!

Yes, perhaps. There are lawyers who would take it on for no up front money. And yes if you have a spouse working that would be ideal.
Regardless, the idea is to get more now. What they offer initially isn’t much, and COBRA approaches 1000 per month. Plus the outplacement benefits they will offer are a joke.

If you have a family under Cobra, it's more like $2K/month.

Health insurance, not Cobra, continues until the end of the Warn notice (2 months) and then for the rest of whatever month that date falls on. So, conceivably you could continue to receive benefits for up to 3 months.
Never…and I mean NEVER…use Cobra. You are entitled to health benefits as soon as you file for unemployment. Regardless of severance. And they are much cheaper.
My understanding is that big changes are coming soon for most of the specialty TAs. You owe this company nothing after how they have handled themselves the past few years. Don‘t get blindsided again. They are counting on it.

Never thought about it that way, but you are right. They do count on everyone being blindsided. That's their MO.
