I think it has 6-12 months left. Because there are many launches coming it makes sense to maintain a salesforce just to get the word out. But who knows after that. Without any major insurance wins, I don’t understand or see how it could last much longer.
Have you seen the background of members of the "payer team"?! They're typically sales reps that's have no background in even positioning and pulling through contracts, much less actual negotiation of these contracts and utilization criteria!! They pride themselves for promoting from within but does experience and/or skill sets matter at all? You're going to keep getting the same results if you keep hiring the same kind of people into payer positions.
