Losing good people

The attrition shows no signs of stopping. I hope Sr. Leadership is taking this serious. I think we need more than a culture crew to fix this mess that was created. When you keep fixing stuff that’s not broken you tend to create a mess that you ultimately can’t fix

I don’t even recognize this company anymore or the people. It’s unbelievable how many people have left since the layoff.
 




With Lee Ellen and Paula on the “Culture Crew” how could we go wrong! lol!!! People are leaving because:

1. We are underpaid compared to our industry peers.
2. Our senior leadership is horrible.
3. The future at Astellas is very fuzzy. What happens after Xtandi is gone? Veozah can’t even cover its marketing costs after 2 years?
4. We can all see that this company has been stripped to the bone to save money. Call HR lately? How about the “help” desk?
5. We are tired of being told how great it is here. We know what great looks like and this aint it. Astellas WAS great, and some people are still clinging to that. Wake up- Astellas is never gonna be great again. Ever.

It started going down hill when Jim and Marty left. Then the DEI leadership took over.
 






I don’t even recognize this company anymore or the people. It’s unbelievable how many people have left since the layoff.
This is what happens when you lay off really good performers. The remaining reps say-“If they can do that to that person” even though they won numerous awards etc., they won’t care one bit about me the next layoff”.
 


This train is coming off the rails. No way we can replace Xtandi ($5 billion per year) with the existing portfolio. Veozah isn’t even covering its marketing expenses entering the third year on the market. Layoffs are practically guaranteed within the next year. It’s just a business folks. They won’t even whisper about layoffs until they pull the trigger. In this business, you almost never hear the shot that kills you! You have plenty of time to make a move to a better company. And yes, good people are leaving, and will continue to do so until Astellas implodes.
