Interviewed for a primary care role last week and curious about the day to day life with this company. Not scared of hard work, but also wondering about access, micromanaging/tracking and just what a typical day looks like. Thanks :)

Heavy on metrics and the level of micromanaging all comes down to your manager. What created the opening that you applied for? Did they leave because of stress or leave for more money?
 
And when you say metrics- is it all calls per day? Calls on targets etc. Have never worked with a partner before- pros/cons to that?
Metrics…CPD, R&F, Omni, P1 targets, etc etc. You will get fired for not hitting your “TDFA” (metrics algorithm) but not for having bad numbers. You will need to fake calls in order to meet the TDFA. As long as your partner and you are on the same page about that, you will be fine. Culture is bad right now because we are losing FARXIGA this year and there is a lot of fear/unknown surrounding that. Be prepared to roll with the punches with whatever gets thrown at you. Changes are coming and not all of us will be employed in the end.

You’re better off working at a Fast Food Drive through and you will be respected more! Toxic, retaliation, off label selling, micromanaging, protected managers and bullying. The list is to long and not worth coming to AZ!!

The big con to your partner is that they don't even work for AZ! It's a contract rep. The young ones are inexperienced & looking for their next job. The older Syneos reps are lazy as can be and barely work. AZ looks at how many times you call on specific doctors.
 
Speak up, then get bullied out. A culture that not only tolerates bullying, it rewards and promotes bullying.
Indeed. Specifically in oncology Dave F has allowed bullying, retaliation, inappropriate relationships between leaders and subordinates and favoritism galore. It’s gone on for years and those that have both done and benefited from it keep failing up. People like Katy M.
