2025 Salary Pool- Development

does anyone know and care to share the average % raise based on the salary pool for 2025 ? Review was glowing, but % raise was a bit dissappointing, especially in the inflationary economy- can't tell if raise was based on eval or eval was just a bunch of fluff

Since I have been at Novartis it has held true that you can always look at external US national average raise and then expect it to be less than national average. If national average increase is 4%, Novartis is 3%.

Good for those of you who got over the 3% mark. Internal transfer with strong year end leeformance and I got 3%. Figured manager took care of her people and I got the standard bullshit increase but if the pool is between 2-5.3% like someone referenced I got screwed and was below average

People are getting fired this week. Maybe this isn't the best time for the "poor me" routine because you got a shitty raise.
And, for what it's worth, Novartis only gives shitty raises, so this shouldn't really come as much of a surprise.

In this company people get fired every day because of some reorganization or another. It’s become so common, it’s business as usual. If you want a decent raise, leave Novartis. Increases are always below average.

Fuck off - there is nothing “poor me” about what I said. My point was joining a new team and having others get a higher percent than I may have based on manager favorites. And before you say anything about people getting “fired” this week - already been through this at Novartis twice now

Poor little Novartis baby its ok, you can cry. Now reality, if you had a half ounce of talent, you woulda left Novartis after your 1st layoff. Azz clown.

You've been around that long and you don't know how raises work at Novartis?
And you tell someone else to fuck off?
On top of being an asshole, you are apparently oblivious to how the company you work for operates.

Well to be fair, if people never expressed discontent with the piss poor raising Novartis dolls out during layoffs, they never would be able to. Layoffs are perpetual in this company.

I got a subpar raise compared to my performance just a few days before being laid off. If they knew my raise was going to cost them nothing and was only going to be a bargaining chip for me trying to land on my feet, they could have at least made it a good “raise.”
