A message to all Allergan Reps...

To all the new Allergan reps, welcome aboard. People like to bitch but we can’t blame them, see most reps at Abbvie have never had to really grind it out in sales. They have always been able to work the T’s. That’s Tuesday to Thursday 10 to 2. Now that they have competition for openings they feel you are a threat to them. 90% of reps are happy here the other 10% are not worth listening to because they couldn’t afford to max out their 401k and reap the rewards of which Abbvie/Abbott/Solvay/Koss/Pharmacyclics and so forth has provided. If they did they would be sitting on a million dollars plus pension! I smile every morning while I pass Go and collect 5.75% in dividends. Being a drug rep has made me the happiest guy in the world. Haters gonna hate, though. Just be you.

See the funny thing here is the reps writing these things about the Allergan/AbbVie merger and reps; are AbbVie reps promoting drugs that quarter after quarter have terrible numbers, can’t launch a bottle rocket and are HATED by all of the HCPs and offices. They are made fun of behind their backs TO the Allergan reps from these HCP’s and offices. They have no access, no relationships and therefore no scripts. They are petrified of actual reps coming in from Allergan who exceed goals and numbers every quarter and are trying to piggy back on their reputation and relationships to gain access. Nice try though.
