So Thibault and Tillet are preening around AAD just like last year - over a hundred people from Kenvue have managed to get in on the gravy train. (I guess Kenvue has tons of money after only paying 53% of bonuses so they decided to put Neutrogena on all the Taxis at the event)

Meanwhile a large retailer one of our largest customers is holding a supplier event....guess how many Kenvue people are coming to that....
 
The displays are enormous. All of our scientists are doing shows and are influencers too. Maybe if they were allowed to do science, the pipeline would be better.
There is no real innovation or science anymore at Kenvue. Tillet has destroyed any initiative or innovation. The terrible showing at AAD demonstrates this.
 
How was it terrible? Professionals didn’t show, or Kenvue science was not impressive?
Pros are there for free samples and it doesn’t move the needle, what new science does Kenvue have? They blew a ton of money having a hundred people there with the wrong audience, while not sending anyone to a customer event held at the same time…:

Exactly the same mistake as last year. I have a feeling leadership knows they can’t turn it around and they are out- so they may as well party as the ship goes down.

Funny. He’s 53. I guess drugs don’t do the skin good and guess this proves Neutrogena doesn’t reverse the signs of chemical aging.

Even crazier are the social media videos of all of the influencers with backstage “Talent” badges, all taking a cut of Kenvue $$. Let them eat cake.

They also got DOCTORLY who has his own product lines now REMEDY and also JUST 2 years ago, helped CERAVE sell it on TikTok. Leftovers. Even DOCTORLY’s following has to be confused now since REMEDY completely competes with Neutrogena in the consumer space.

I get that marketing is a necessary expense for a consumer goods company, and that rolling out the red carpet for instagram crowd is a big part of that in 2025. But it sure is feels like a slap in the face for the employees who are busting our asses every day to keep the wheels from falling off, only to see our jobs under threat and our compensation sandbagged by poor company performance.

And, personal opinions about marijuana use aside, a drugmaker sponsoring the celebration of recreational use of a schedule 1 substance is an odd move.

At least marajuana works - unlike the phenyleohedrine that Kenvue/J&J sells despite senior leadership knowing full well it has 0 efficacy.
