Additional Acquisitions

Word is that additional acquisitions in the works. Shouldn't get this merger thing right before we go looking for another company?

Call bluff all you want, David Weavil says otherwise. The deal was just approved by the lab being purchased and the deal should be finalized in 2-3 weeks. This will give them GA, AL, and FL.

It's no bluff. The board and ESOP for the company has approved the sell and the paperwork is just being finalized now. You should see something in the form of a press release in the next few weeks to a month. David Weavil was present during the company's meeting.

Yes and they're trying to steal our esop money.

I'm thankful I've moved on but I want my money.

Crooks.

Yes and that second payout for the ESOP is running a little overdue. Seems the "around six months" wording means "whenever we want to".

Schedule was:
1st payout: Within 30 days of closing
2nd payout: Around six months pending audit
3rd payout: 18 month from closing

The audit is complete. How about an update on our money?

The "update" is that Tom Arena sucker punched you with the whole "we don't want to change your business" baloney! How's that working out for the Billing Dept., Rockey and the Sales team?

Sour grapes. ESOP money will be paid out according to IRS guidelines and on the IRS timeline; not yours. No changes? Get serious. The Sales Dept was the snooze dept. Much needed changes and new people with enthusiasm and ambition. Billing was a lame duck from the start. Can be easily absorbed elsewhere.

Idiot. He's gone thanks to Tom and the gang.

The doctors in town don't like the new sales team and are heavily using LabCorp and SGMC.

All the fancy sales staff and tactics in the world cannot replace good customer service and the trust that was built over a 50 year time frame. It's going to be a hard lesson to learn.

IRS doesn't hold the ESOP. Just the clearance for the second payment. Updates are all anyone has asked for. No sour grapes, just making sure things stay on the up and up. When we're all paid out, then I could care less how badly they wreck the company or the community relations.
