Looking to get into aesthetics. How is the market looking for 2024? I’m seeing a lot of post about goals etc. Does anyone have anything positive to say about the industry as I am seriously interested and right now with a hiring manager.

Aesthetics is a hot mess. Not only at Allergan. The industry is facing some serious headwinds but we seem to be more impacted. Layoffs will continue in 2025.

2024 Nation finished at 77%. We all get paid at 95%, do the math. Heavily commoditized products, race to the bottom, and we keep tripping ourselves w dumb programs nobody wanted. Your call.

The headwinds faced by the industry are unlikely to resolve anytime soon. With our market share, there is only one way for us to go and this is down. 2025 will be difficult. Expect restructuring and layoffs.

Was told by hiring manager, AbbVie is on a hiring freeze. Does anyone know when it’ll be lifted? Good manager or not, I want to work at AbbVie!

Nobody knows, over 20 vacancies currently.

Unlikely to be anytime soon. Sales continue to decline as competition increases.

Start of Q2, more Managers and BDMs have given their resignation. Hiring freeze will have to be lifted soon. If it isn’t, it shows that this is what AbbVie needs in preparation for a headcount reduction. Do the math, stay woke!

Looking to transition to BDM in Ohio? They said the commission OTE was 88k. Is this correct? I think the role sounds great, and I sell to hospitals now. Am I missing something?
