Anyone who worked in any of these businesses knows they were all complicit - unfortunately, we the taxpayers won't get back even a fraction of the monies. And so many of the "little people" they used to take their gains will be without jobs. Very sad, on so many levels.
Greed is a true blinder - they really didn't realize that technology and data analytics by fraud and abuse teams would keep them from getting out before they were found out. They all even tried to re-start the scheme again! As they say, there is a fine line between crazy and brilliant.
