Anybody know if we'll still be overlapping?

Was thinking it will be easier to layoff the overlay reps once Butrans goes generic and they realize how bad the new drug is. Intermezzo, Ryzolt, didn't we just grow then cut? Butrans will be Sim leads.

What I find amusing is that IF they ever find anyone to take the job of COO(Saeed's old job), he/she will want to hire their own VP of Sales. If Marv doesn't get the job, the new VP will come up with a totally different sales strategy and likely realign the sales force again. I think its dumb to do it now under an "interim" VP.

I am pretty sure that all my relationships are out the window. Most of the team will be shuffled and starting over. In this market, not smart. The entire team will suffer, but it will look better on paper to somebody in HO. When we fail, we will be threatened , PIPed and some more will leave, more fired. The circle of life at Purdue.

If buying more time after firing Lisa is the goal, Marv is perfect. He's clueless and old school. You make a good point about a new team scrapping whatever Marv does -- although I can almost guarantee it won't be much, with the empty platitudes and circular speak. Additionally, the dude has had the job for well over two months now and has done nothing.

There isn't a less qualified VP of anything in the industry than Marv. He has never had any accomplishments anywhere.- MK just skips from job to job, flatters those around him to try and build loyalty, and hangs on as long as he can. He is old school, but is as basic as they come. We have no chance with him leading anything.
