Anyone from Amgen

I am in rheumatology. Realistically, average performance will get you $7500 a quarter all in inclusive of contests. If you are top 10% more like $12000 a quarter.

You just have to be able to endure the needless standing teleconferences that is set up for the DM's convenience, not yours.

And you will fell dirty, but get ready each validation to throw off bad writers to dermatology just by claiming they are dermatology now. Never felt clean, but it works.

Op from the other thread here-

Depends on the division. But expect about 10k a quarter and like the previous poster said they are capped.

Oh my GOSH stop with the O/P stuff on the other thread. You do not "own" these boards. You are a poster like all of us.

You are wrong. Expect less than 9 K. So many of us do not get target

Especially when one of the consistent commenters (me) has worked for both companies in the last two years. I’d say this is accurate. I had gotten 30k+ quarters at horizon and the most I’ve had at Amgen is 14k.

Im the OP in the other thread...

Bottom line Horizon folks will make a little less bonus vs. Horizon. But you are being brought in as KAM's and at a higher level than the Chemocentryx employees. This is confirmed. Amgen is starting a rare disease division and you will be our first employees. Bonus is undecided but as previously posted your plan will continue to be 64k a year if it changes it wont be until sometime in 2024 but I'm hearing it wont.

I will say you will all have bullseyes on your back as many of our reps currently in rheumatology are going to be upset and look to get into your roles. They will be trained on the products and will serve as referral reps working closely with you. Its a first for Amgen so we will see how it goes.

To whomever posted this initially, and everyone else on here, go read the other thread,

Yes it has been determined, and no it will not be anything that anyone stated in this thread so far. It is already in the agreement that we will receive the same target bonus for at least one year once the transaction is completed.

From the preliminary proxy statement filed with the SEC.

“Employee Matters

From the effective time through the first anniversary of the effective time (the “Continuation Period”), Amgen will provide, or will cause Acquirer Sub to provide (i) each continuing Horizon employee with a base salary or hourly rate no less favorable than as provided immediately prior to the effective time, (ii) each continuing Horizon employee with a target annual or quarterly cash bonus, incentive compensation (excluding any special, retention or one-time award opportunities), and commissions opportunities (as applicable) that are no less favorable than that in effect immediately prior to the effective time, and (iii) for continuing Horizon employees as a group, employee benefits that are no less favorable in the aggregate than those provided to similarly-situated employees of Amgen and its subsidiaries. For purposes of clause (iii), any equity, defined benefit pension plans, nonqualified deferred compensation plans, retiree health or welfare benefits, post-termination health or welfare benefits and retention or change in control payments or awards will not be taken into account.”

For the last time, this is not an issue for us. We don’t have to worry about “bad writers” or doctors not being properly credited in our system to a certain geography,

You don’t know a damn thing, and what you hear is clearly worthless. You kept saying that our IC was still undecided. I am a Horizon employee and am the one who posted the info on the other thread which was publicly available and was part of the INITIAL AGREEMENT. https://ir.horizontherapeutics.com/static-files/ccfaf8ae-e354-494f-b0da-a71edc9765cb#page21 I am also the one who shared what Chemocentryx reps are making for bonus now as Amgen employees - it’s the same target IC that they previously had, too.

HORIZON PEOPLE, STOP ASKING AMGEN PEOPLE ANYTHING BEYOND INFO ON BASIC BENEFITS. THEY DO NOT KNOW A DAMN THING. This person is making up BS about their reps being trained on our product and being referral reps. It doesn’t even make any sense to have a referral rep that calls on rheumatologists. Who are they referring to? Other rheumatologists? Lol! Idiot.

GTFO, Amgen troll.

What level are the chemocentryx employees?

If this posts multiple times, sorry. It didn’t show up still 5 minutes after first try.

You may be the OP, but I am the one who posted on the other thread about us getting to keep our bases & bonuses after everyone else on that thread stated that it was either undecided or that our based would be lowered. That decision was part of the original agreement, so clearly you are not in the know and never have been.

I’m also the one that shared the Chemocentryx title & bonuses.

I work for Horizon. People at Amgen do not know anything, so stop believing them. Having rheum reps be referral reps doesn’t even make sense. Idiot.

This is true. Also true our E reps will be aiming for your roles. Masters of manipulation and pretending to work as E requires nothing to lose 5% a quarter. Don't take your eye off them, especially Keith in NJ.

I am currently coasting in NUBU until our fate is announced so I may not be around once you make it over. Best of luck.

I work at Amgen. I came from Chemocentryx. It is true the Enbrel reps are being trained on OUR drug and so far we are told they will be helping with referrals. So don't call people idiots when it is you who is wrong.

Also if I'm being 100% honest the transition to Amgen so far has been top notch. We have spent a lot of time doing various trainings and everyone got modest increases to our base. Could be a lot worse!

If, in fact, that’s even true regarding the training, then maybe it makes sense for your drug, but it does not for ours. Also, I will continue to use the term idiot when referencing “the OP from the other thread” or any anyone else from Amgen who comes on here and claims to have some special insight regarding what is going to happen to us, especially the OP who keeps regurgitating MY information as his or her own & then tacking on some speculative BS.
Clearly no one on here had insights from “high level meetings” given they didn’t even know the information that had already been decided and then made public. These Amgen idiots need to stop assuming that our situation will be similar to theirs and stop taking any little rumor that they hear about us as gospel.
