Every day I feel like someone is playing a joke on us field employees. I will explain. We have ecosystems managed by HEDs which are like directors, under this HED we have HD’s with random field roles assigned. Most field roles have multiple Therapeutic Areas assigned. An HD could have multiple roles under them. Then we have SPOC HDs who assigned a therapeutic area and a team of field people. In a Region, there are many ecosystems all structured differently. I have a regional SPOC and an ecosystem spoc. We also have a Regional leader over the ecosystems. We have National Therapeutic area calls, ecosystem calls, therapeutic ecosystem calls, Regional therapeutic area calls and role based calls. Is this a joke? We have HD’s as SPOCs of ecosystems that never stepped foot in a specific therapeutic area or have ever done specific roles.
This ecosystem model should never have been used in a biotech company. You have to be on drugs if you think this is working.
