Stock price is rising in anticipation on buy out. Bankers have been in and out of the home office working on packaging up the company for a quick sale before the smoke clears. AA's end game in about to become a reality by the end of Q1.

The bankers have to find a right suitor that is willing to pay a certain multiple of sales but most importantly the acquisition has to be accretive to EPS either immediately or over time. They have to find potential suitors and sell them the AUXL "sales pipeline growth explosion" story.

I don't know the latest figures but AUXL has about 50 million shares outstanding and sales of about 440 million with no debt. At 1.3billion market cap that is about 3x sales (not sure if this is industry norm). I have no idea how much xiaflex and stendra are going to contribute to sales growth. Say they increase sales to $650 million this fiscal year 2014 and we keep 3x multiple hence a 1.9 billion market cap or $39 per share.

Good luck finding a new job.
Company will be sold but no one is paying a 3X premium for a bag full of low value, me too products and a high cost, low volume drug AND a penis pump. But we will be sold.

Makes sense, my estimates were range of $35 to $44
Easier for Big Pharma to buy pipeline which Auxilium is building: a portfolio that looks attractive. Problem with Auxilium is management and small not well trained sales force. A good company with hit better numbers with good training, more reps, and superior management/marketing.
Management team here is clueless, many promoted for wrong reasons. Reps here in Florida can't stand there Manager RSD Testim, which prevents them from being more productive. I see it all over this company. Numbers are good, but could be a lot better with right people and culture in place. This company had the potential for double the revenue, that they should be ashamed of.

You're a dim-witted bimbo in Florida without a clue how pharma industry works.
Can't wait til you're gone.
