Hi-
I'm in the middle of interviewing with a big pharma co and left a small 4 month consulting gig of my resume and just extended the time from the previous job to cover it. Basically, I didn't want my resume to have a 4 month "job" in the middle of two others making it appear like I was fired. I plan on noting this consulting project on my application for a background check so that if they run employment dates everything will appear kosher. Do you think this will be an issue that would keep me from getting hired? Most of my interviews haven't dealt with previous roles since my resume spelled a lot of things out.
