Bad news for CSS

The GSK "Specialty Rep" in my area just quit (Jan 15th).

Instead of waiting for the Reliant CSS to fill the position, GSK rehired a deselected GSK rep. I wouldn't have a problem with this if the deselected rep was formerly a specialty rep - but he wasn't. The rehired GSK rep had only one year of experience in Pharma - and no specialty experience. He doesn't even have any experience in this particular geography. No relationships already established that might be of value.

So GSK had a chance to take a PC winning CSS, but instead rehired a rep with very little industry experience.

THIS IS NOT GOOD FOR ANY CSS REP...

you got it wrong... this is actually great news for css

don't understand why PC reps are so bitter? Not all but most. If I were rep that sells Lovaaaaaaza I would have my ass out there interviewing with 400 reps being layed off soon. GSK is expanding both Hosp Div by 100 reps and expanding Onc Div considering CSS reps with experience. Everyone quit whining and blaming and bad mouthing. so over it

Did the Reliant CSS apply for the position? What do you mean "instead of waiting for the Reliant CSS"? Many of you people have not posted for any openings and instead you have just waited for something to happen. I have read post on here where you are surprised that your territories changed to the current GSK territory alignment. It's almost as if you thought GSK was going to alter their business strategy to fit YOUR needs rather than GSK's. I have met several sharp Reliant reps in my area but I must say that the ones posting on this board are pretty clueless.

We Reliant reps aren't posting for GSK positions because we don't want to work for GSK. Plain and simple.

lisa glasband went to cardionet as reginal sales manager good for her applaud because she deserved it not gsk shit

did she ever stop? i never saw anyone work like her. i am happy to hear about her new position now for the rest of us, lets hope for a good job after april 1 so we can get a nice severance

fucking opportunistic selfish loser who loved to yap and hear herself talk. I loved how she would zone out looking at the ceiling during one of her rants. She was annoying god only hopes her kids turn out shy.

Bitter? I would admit that she was one of the lucky ones that made it to PC with avg sales. I do not think her MS ever surpassed the national average, and volume was not near the highest.

nothing about lisa was average. she was above average in everything she did. instead of being jealous why not be happy for her much deserved success and move on and look for a job of your own

Not jealous, just realistic. If you look at rankings, MS has always been around the average. Nothing "above average" just average. It is obvious you look up to her which is O.K., but no need to lie, everyone in CSS gets the rankings.

Anyone who knows her will tell you she's an evil gal. Beware Cardionet the devil has arrived!
