Bard Access Systems?

I was referred to a Bard Access opening in Denver and had a few questions?

- How well positioned is Bard is the vascular device arena? Are they competitive in the market or are they behind in technology?

-Work culture

-Compensation (base, commission, etc)

-Company care or car allowance (if allowance, how much?)

-Any other relevant information

Good technology outside of a coated picc line which has been promised for years. Ultrasound equipment needs work but has a place because Sonosite reps are few and far between. Parties, I mean meetings are always a blast! Money is not bad as long as you like Management by Measure aka Micromanagement.

This company is one step up from pharma...wait, pharma still makes more than us that sell statlock and picc's and other catheters.

Thanks for the information. I'm currently happy or satisfied at my current position but am looking to make a step forwards, sounds like this might be a step backwards or lateral. I'm projecting to make around $120k so i'm not sure if this position would net me more money, equal or less. I did hear the parties are something to be had though. Currently, i'm not micro managed as long as I am pacing on target or above which I have been. My manager seems to leave me alone and not pester me with how i'm running my business which is enjoyable.

Oh well, guess i'll keep plugging along. Thanks again for the info.

You have the opportunity to make $2ook - $275k depending on the territory. It should be consistently above $150k if you are successful. I made good money for years as a rep but left a few years ago to try selling in a different space. The sales leadership is solid but you need to be ready to work. There are people who have been at BAS for years and still finding ways to make really good cash

If you left a few years ago then you may not be aware that compensation has dropped dramatically. Gotta keep costs down and shareholders happy.

CR Bard is an excellent company.
Access remains a profitable division. J likes to recycle reps ( unless you ?) every 3-4 years. You can expect to average between 130-150 and work like a dog.

200-275k days are over. 130-150k is more like it.
