If you take the time to read this new Actavis site you would see that no one has any clue as to what any of that will be! Hence, very disgruntled employees.

Bank on this:
- Like virtuall on all companies, competition for promotions are fierce. Just think about the DM level; most DMs have ten reps, so your DM quits, and you want his spot, well you have potentially 10 competitors right there in your district. Now throw in home office type, and other reps in other districts that might also want the job. If hired, you will be hired to be a rep, and that should be your focus. If something else comes along, go for it.

- On Turnover, - At 35%/year, you would be hard pressed to find another company with this type of churn. In fact this was a stated policy at WC; they actually liked the turnover and bragged about it. Hence the phrase "reps are like soccer balls, you kick them until they are deflated, then you get another one." This is a direct quote from a WC RSD, and no one even batted an eye; he didnt try to hide it at all. It was even hailed as great leadership. In most other companies he would have been at least reprimanded.

- On Benefits - Entire family, prescriptions included, and 10$ co-pay for 50-60 dollars per month at WC. That is dirt cheap, most will pay around 300/month for that. I wouldnt count on benefits being better. They were really quite spectacular at WC.

My recruiter gave me the list of bene's - He Didn't know about Christmas week but said there were 12 company payed holidays. My company only has six so maybe it includes that holiday week.
Was also told 8% 401K match. All other benes were industry standard. Car, gas card ,. Cell phone reimbursement etc.

Pay is too low at 85,000 max. That won't happen. I'm Currently in end stage process for Psych med for 105,000 base. There are better jobs if you have exp. This will be a very young inexperienced training class which is perhaps all they need.

Good Luck to you all.
