Best way to get fired

And collect unemployment.
Tired of running the whole operation and getting paid crap. Tired of 24/7 on call.
What's the best way to get out of this madhouse and still collect?

Years ago I was sharing a office with a R.T. when I was selling for a national like rotech. He hated the manager as I did. One day he was leaning back in his chair, looking at it fiddling with it si I asked " what are you doing " ? He said he was hoping the manager came in and he was going to fall over backward and pretend he was injured on in the workplace. He never did it but left the company on his on will and went to another national chain. He contacted me after working about a year at his new job and told me he was not working due to a injury he suffered on the job. He told a story of being on the clock and being spotted at a local casino by his superiors. He said that he was sure that saw him but did not see him see them. He got back to work as fast as he could and got into his chair and when they came into the office to confront him he had his accident right in front of them. He knew that they were going to fire him but he did his little trick and wound up getting labor and industries for a lengthy period of time as well as some other benefits. I hope this helps.

Employee never got fired but planned all surgeries at the end of the year so that he/she was off. Screwed up the rest of the employees' time off during the holidays because we were so short handed no one else could take their time. If there was a scam, this person could run it.

Oh- The old chair falling over backwards routine.
So I take it that it is a good idea to have a manager actually witness the injury?
I was hoping I could just claim that the tank rack I lifted from the truck took out my back at a patient's house.

Nope, no one needs to witness it, plus there is no medical way to tell that your back hurts.

Talk to a dr. Or someone who knows how to answer certain medical questions about your back.
The wrong answer or symptom of your alleged back injury would screw your comp benefits, and believe me, rotech knows how to screw you out of the benefits you're entitled to.

Let me get this straight. You work for a company that is funded by government Medicare dollars but you have to work too much so you move over to obamas other teet to suck some more?

Acquisitions ALWAYS pay off, otherwise they wouldn't do it.
Dont chime in if you have no idea what your talking about, theses acquisitions were made for the equipment, than shortly after that they lost VA contracts, and now have more equipment than they ever have a use for.And the VA is completely done awarding them future contracts.Basicly all thier equipment is good for is scrap, its years and years beyond its prime.

That's funny.
If that were the case, why all the complaining on this board about concentrators?
Yet you're saying that we have too MUCH equipment. Can't have it both ways.

Those concentrators are like gold. Just wait until the Great Depression happens all over again. Rotech will be the last one standing due to their stockpile of old smelly concentrators stored in their old closed down offices.

F U lincare!

Whats not funny is the fact that you cant read (maybe that explains why you still work at rotech) thousands of concentrators that are f,ing useless, you know, kind of like you.

No company ever buys another in this business for the equipment. They buy companies for the revenue that those patients bring, market coverage, contracts that can be assigned etc. Then they hope to let as many of the new employees go as possible. So the last thing they are thinking aobut is equipment that can be bought used everywhere on the cheap.
