Everything that is is written about this company is true. This is a warning to anyone that is thinking about interviewing for this company. I know that traditionally cafe pharma is not really to be trusted, but I am telling you that Horizon is a very mismanaged company.

It is true that there is NO work life balance and the management expects for you to get 8 signatures a day and then on top of it on your off time you are expected to do weekly expense reports, organize your territory, send trigger letters...it goes on and on.

If you are totally desperate than take the job, but I am telling you it's an absolute nightmare and you will be completely miserable. I just think it's the right thing to do to let people know what they are getting themselves into. If a recruiter calls you and tells you this is the BEST opportunity he/she is LYING. Do a lot of research before signing on. There are great representatives at this company, it is simply the upper management that doesn't have a clue. Unfortunately, that will most likely be the undoing of Horizon.

Good luck to all the employees that are working at this hell hole and to the prospects, BEWARE!!

True and the worst district in the company is held to a 10 signature a day standard. Hit metrics or fired. This post is accurate.
 




THERE IS NO FUTURE ON THE HORIZON

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME INTERVIEWING WITH THIS COMPANY!

• The organization is a bad joke run by micromanaging morons.
• The luanch HAS failed as Duexis is NOT generating nearly the revenue that was expected.
• No one will make ANY bounus to speak of ($300-$700 per quarter).
• PAR Pharma should be able to launch a generic in 1 year.
• Thanks to the corporate Chaos the market will never see Rayos.
• Investors are not investing in company and Horizon is burning through their existing cash much faster than could have ever been expected.
• The entire sales force has resumes out and is trying to get out before the death rattle.

Bottom line:
"Being the best rep in this company is like being the healthiest horse in the glue factory!"

These posts are all an exaggeration and not true and probably from the same few poeple. I don't know where you all think you're going to go to get these jobs you claim to be interviewing for. You must be in upper management getting the big bucks and passing on the stress to everyone else. If you were working in the field you would be feeling the stress not denying it. Wait til management finds out all the top sales reps success came from not following the initial corp guidelines in territory. Why else would the #'s drop. They should be increasing each week.
 


No one asked to me it was company wide
Entire district was sent email after email with metrics grids everyday for weeks

Then it was 8 signatures a day
10 calls a day
monthly targets
weekly targets
zip code calls
super targets
top 25
frequency on those targets
now contest to micromanage. The contest doesn't offer enough money to make the busy work worth it

Beware you won't be successful here they don't let you manage a shit break let alone a territory
Too bad thought it was a good company

Majority of the people who have left this company have either already found new jobs or are in the final interview process with better ones. Some folks still employed here are working other jobs on the side. You should be scared of losing your best reps. Trust me when I say they are looking to get out.

You are obviously some loser in the upper management. I was not fired or sat down by a manager; I got out because this is the worst run company I have ever seen. Everything that has been said negative about this company is true, kid yourself if you will but the company won't survive if they are burning through reps.

Sad that even if you mico managed your team is still last. Where are the top districts located and are they micro managed also? Looking to see if this company is a good option in other parts of the country.

Read the posts. Research the company. Ask pharmacists what they think about the product. Then if you are still just needing a short term paycheck take the job at your own risk. Look at the latest info on the 60 million loan and the repayment on it. 3 mil stock issued at .01. Just doesn't look good with how the company blows through money with its big pharma mentality. Great advice! Thank you. I just talked to my PCP about it and our local pharmacy and you are right. I am going to explore other options. Good luck to you all.
