Biogenentech

MJ is a very stoic and quiet dude but don't let that fool you. He's super smart and has been around ms for a long time. He survived a lot of change over the years at biogen and definitely didn't fit into the mold of useless assholes they've brought in over the last few years. I can't speak to him management style but I have spoken to him and worked with him in a limited capacity and would say he's a good dude. Only time will tell.

Thanks Mike, but he is average smart, and the only reason he survives is because he kills others in his path. He was useless, and only called everyone who launched Tecfidera useless, because he could not do it himself, he lacks strategic thinking and is very opinionated to say the least.
Time will show his true colors the same that left he out of many promotions at Biogen

He was surrounded by a continuous change of regime, and more times than not by a group of fucking idiots. And he's right. The expansion was a group of big pharma losers, both reps and managers, who got handed a simple drug that could sell itself and yes they screwed the pooch.

Again, thanks Mike
Interesting response, since Tecfidera is the most successful launch in more than a decade.
Many of the people who launched that drug were top notch and Mike was not part of that.
He was too busy losing bosses every 6 months because he could not get along with any of them.
Which takes us back to stubborn arrogant and does not play well with others- that is Mike J

Yes what is his image and what did he get at Genentech that he didn't get at BioGen? Aside from a BJ

His image: sarcastic, obstinate and labels people very quickly
Spent his entire career with Biogen
He last few years he had more than 3 bosses due to his inability to collaborate with any of them.
Hated Chuck, hated the Global lady and when his sponsors started to leave he had no place to hide.
Predictions at Biogenentech for Mike:
1. < 2 months you will have little access- he will refer everyone to someone on his "staff"
2. in < 3 months will start calling Genentech; Big pharma
3. in <6 months there will be a chasm between Sales and Marketing
4. in <14 months he will be looking for a promotion
5. in <2 years everyone will know MS at Genentech and not need Mike

If you guys are hiring a bunch of Biogen Reps I would leave as soon as possible! Most toxic group in the industry. Your culture is about to change, and yes it can get worse.

Biogen is know to be deceitful and have zerp respect in the MS community anymore.

We operate in silos... every business unit and even product franchise has its own unique culture to be completely truthful. So whatever toxic crap MJ and his minions SH and that fat dude from the northwest create will be isolated to that franchise, thankfully !!

Funny a colleague of mine knew Hulse- fired for expense fraud
Rendezvousing with one of his direct reports and expensing it
Genentech hires this crap instead of some of us internal?
Gotta really shake your head at this crew Jones is bringing in

The male and female predators are active this week in Vegas.
