BioH and Camlog

Heard BioH and Camlog, both owned by Schein are consolidating and laying off reps, bringing territories together. There is a shake up happening, and it's not good for Camlog and BioH reps.

Apparently Biohorizon laid off some reps and brought over a bunch of the Schein layoff people. The ones worth keeping i guess.

My friend who works there had a half a million dollar territory cut.

Schein has made their presence known finally. No more fun for the field reps.

Wow a whole half a million dollars?? That is insane. I got a 2+ million territory brah. They give territories that size to sixth grade classes as a group project. Seriously, these second and third tier companies are beyond jokes.

It isn't bad here. Not as easy as it once was, but when you see what is going on at Zimmer Biomet or Implant Direct right now.....BH is heaven.

what is going on at Implant Direct? We are continously growing, flipping straumann, nobel, and zimmer customers, and part of a 15 billion dollar holding company named Danaher, who also owns Nobel? And??

Why would you flip Nobel asshat??
Go after the competition not your own company!!
Play in the low cost market and kill Zimmer 3i and biohorizons
Leave your own company alone - dipstick
Plus your product is a clone of theirs (Zimmer, biohorizons) and NOT Nobels, so you are selling your Nobel guys oranges for apples. Don't screwup their practice and patients.

idiot....i'll flip whoever I can. We are still are own op-co, and if a doctor gets sick of paying for nobel tri-lobe or nobel active (which we are COMPATIBLE...contrary to your statement) I will oblige them.

we are not a clone of zimmer or bio-horizons. We sold our company, including the TSV design and internal hex long time ago to zimmer, and BioH now has the connection as well. We started it, we didn't clone it. Dumma

This idiot is back again making claims that Implant Direct has been in business for 30+ years. Dude, everyone knows what Niznick did, but Implant Direct didn't sell to Zimmer and BH. Implant Direct didn't exist when the TSV was invented.

dude...i hope you don't work in dental implants....because you have no idea about the history?

seems pretty cut and dry to me.

Niznick was Core-Vent/Paragon. Niznick was also Implant Direct. Where are you getting lost?

And BioHorizons uses the same connection Niznick patented.

Dr. Niznick was the founder and President of Core-Vent Bio-Engineering and Paragon Dental Implant Company (1982 - 2001) which he sold to Zimmer Dental. The Screw-Vent internal hex implant that he invented in 1986 is still the backbone of Zimmer's dental implant system 25 years later. Barron's Magazine Article on Dental Implant Industry Feb. 15, 2005 referred to Dr. Niznick as "a prosthodontist and entrepreneur who is considered by many as the godfather of American implant dentistry."

I got out of that dead end business but you seem to fit perfectly in their brainwashing sales model. Stop using the term "we" when talking about what Niznick did in his life. You aren't him and you didn't work for Core-Vent. Therefore, YOU didn't sell the TSV to Zimmer.

All you do is work for Implant Direct, a knock off company that Niznick started when he got bored from sitting at home and collecting his royalty checks.

Niznick was core vent and paragon...niznick is implant direct....so therefor WE created half the implants that are out there. sorry.

i wish you luck in your new "business" but since you like to separate yourself from the companies you work for, i'm assuming it won't go well.

LOL. So now Niznick created half the implants on the market???? Wow, is this the Niz himself posting again???

I'm sure this jackass puts on his resume that he holds patents because he worked for a company that used to be run by a guy who earned them.

all i'm saying is this. The engaging internal hex is now the standard....The Niz patented it. End of story. Nobody cares about laser lok....or SLA... friction fit abutments...(which the niz patented as well). He got so many companies to buy a license off of him to produce their implants...straumann included.....so whatever. The moral of the story is this....implant direct has implants that are just as good, or better, than the ones priced 40%-50% more. I'm not sure why anyone would think otherwise.

Hate to break it to you but conical connections are now the standard. Internal hexes are so 10 years ago. Nice job Bucky, you lose. Bone loss sucks, internal hexes are fricking bacteria pumps. Go learn something and get back to us.
