Just because some leaders may lack people skills, be greedy and self absorbed don't pick on the wives. Most wives are clueless to the stress spouses are under and how hard it is to maintain a certain lifestyle or pay bills because they never had a real career. Plus usually it is the breadwinner who wants to keep the other at home for many reasons. No need to pick on the wife. is he really that tough?

He's the one that brought his wife into this. She started it, by mocking our job performance and he thought sharing that story would be a motivation tool. Instead of sitting at home all day doing nothing, she could also enter the workforce. This is 2011 not 1971.

Funny....Some like living in 1971 era even though it is 2011...gives them the power which is carried into work. Egos would become mush without it. But then one day the wife finally gets a voice and some guts, that is usually when the kids are grown and they are left unfulfilled. But until then the money,lifestyle eases the discontent. As a Gen Y, we will be different in leadership.

All Gen Y has done is show that you're unwilling to put in the work to attain a promotion, yet you expect to be promoted anyway. I'm sure everyone is anxiously awaiting your "leadership" in the future.
