Well said (stupidly and being wrong) you have to make these large cuts when there is total unanticipated failure or that this management is failing on a day to day basis. This mass pruning of employees will result is loss of your best talent and allow for the trash to flourish. This is obviously a vicious cycle and reflects this management is not in control.
