I’m not sure how everyone else feels (although I suspect we mostly share the same sentiment), but the company has evolved into an organization unrecognizable from only 10 years ago. Rewind to the good ol days when we actually sold products, and the biggest worry was, well... I guess we didn’t really have any big worries. We had great commission checks, loved our vendors, were treated fair by the company, had fun doing the job - maybe the best work / life career balance one could have.
In contrast, fast forward to 2019 - commission checks are the worst ever and actually going down from year to year, in spite of selling more each year (just received my W2, least I’ve made since 1999). Apathetic vendors, except a select few that actually still care. Not treated fairly at all by the company with, among other factors too numerous to mention, commission cuts and continued holdbacks of vendor paid commission and spiffs by corporate (yes, we know it’s happening, vendor partners have personally told us). Maybe the worst result of all this is the dissatisfaction with the job which has evolved into a dog and pony show of software, systems, GPOs, borderline bribery, and downright shameless begging for the business. Gone are the proud days of MWI being the market leader with the small company feel and exemplary customer service. I’m done.
